Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 20-ounce can pineapple with juice
  • 1 cup pecans, optional
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • FROSTING
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1

Mix all cake ingredients together and bake in a 9 x 13 pan at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes.

While still warm, cover cake with frosting. Put cake in refrigerator overnight before serving.
