Ingredients

  • 4 large granny smith apples pared & sliced
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2-1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups unsifted flour
  • 3 tsps. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 1/4 cup orange or pineapple juice
  • 2-1/2 tsps. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Grease and flour bundt pan

Combine apples, cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar. Stir and set aside.

Combine all remaining ingredients in a large bowl and beat until smooth (with electric mixer).

Pour half of batter into pan.
Spread half of apples mixture on top.
Repeat.
Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours
