Dutch Baby Pancake with Buttery Apples

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup low fat milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • Powdered sugar

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425. Grease a 9 inch nonstick cake pan.

Crack the eggs into a bowl. Then use a fork to beat together the eggs, iol, and milk until smooth. Stir until well blended.

Add the flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon to the bowl. Stir until a smooth batter forms.

Bake the pancake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350. Bake until the pancake is very puffy and lightly browned all over. About 5-8 min longer.

Meanwhile, heat the butter in a large skillet. Add the appples and saute, stirring often, until the apples are tender and lightly browned. About 10 min.

Serve with apples over pancake. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
