Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. margarine or olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 lb mushrooms stems and pieces
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, diced
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine, melted or olive oil
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, saute onions and mushrooms in margarine or olive oil. Stir in nuts, sour cream, mushroom soup, turkey and seasonings.

Pour mixture into a 9 x 13 pan.

In a large bowl, toss bread crumbs with melted margarine or olive oil and sprinkle over top of casserole.

Bake at 425F for 20-25 minutes.

Freezes well.
