Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package of macaroni
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 pound cheese
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Make cream sauce of butter, flour, salt and milk. Add cheese and stir until melted. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until tender. Drain and add to sauce. Place in buttered baking dish. Top with bread crumbs. Bake in moderate oven about 1/2 hour or until crumbs are browned.
