Sausage and Shells
I made up this delicious and simple recipe myself. It is one of our favorites and usually things we always have on hand. Hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients
- 1 package sweet Italian Sausage (3-4_
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 Tbsp minced or chopped garlic (we use 2!)
- 2 cans chicken broth (3.5 c plus 4 bullion cubes)
- 12 oz shell or other fancy pasta (3 cups)
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt

Preparation
Step 1
Cook sausage and slice into bite-sized pieces. Wipe grease from pan.
Saute garlic in pan for 1-2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except pasta, and bring to a boil. Add pasta and simmer 15 minutes covered, stirring occasionally, until pasta is done and most of liquid is gone. Serve with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
*** you can sub rosemary for Italian seasoning if you prefer.
***you can sub bulk sausage in this recipe if you prefer.
