Ingredients

    C. Tart Apples (Pared and Sliced)

  • 1 1/4

    t. Ground Cinnamon

  • 1/4

    t. Ground Nutmeg

  • 3/4

    C. Milk

  • 2

    T. Butter (softened)

  • 2

    Eggs

  • 1

    C. White Sugar

  • 1/2

    C. Bisquick Baking Mix

  • Streusel (Below)************

  • 1

    C. Bisquick Baking Mix

  • 1/2

    C. Chopped Nuts

  • 1/3

    C. Brown Sugar (packed)

  • 3

    T. Firm Butter

Directions

1. Heat oven to 325 degrees. 2. Grease Pie Plate, (10x1-1/2") 3. Mix Apples and spices. Pour into Pie Plate. Beat remaining ingredients (except Streusel) until smooth by hand or just a minute or two with a electric Mixer. Pour mixture over Apples. 4. Prepare the Streusel; Blend; Baking Mix, Chopped Nuts, and Brown Sugar. Do not melt the Butter. Cut in the Firm Butter with a fork or pastry cutter, until crumbly. Sprinkle this Streusel on top of Pie. 5. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center, comes out clean; (about an hour). When done; Set to cool. This can be eaten while still warm with a dip of ice cream on it. YUM YUM; where's my fork.
