Ingredients

  • First Mix in Stock Pot:
  • 5-6 red potatoes
  • 1 big bag California blend
  • 1 lb diced ham
  • 1 Tbsp dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt (do not skip)
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • White sauce
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 bags Velveeta shreds
  • 1 bag sharp cheddar
  • 1 bag mild cheddar
  • 1 lb bacon (crumbled)

Preparation

Step 1

Add all stock pot ingredients and water until right below top of everything

Mix ingredients and bring to a boil. While boiling make white sauce

(White Sauce)
Melt butter and add flour to make rue.

Add milk and mix until well blended might be just a bit grainy.
Add to stove on medium heat and stir until just starting to thicken.
Add cheese and mix until smooth.

Once main pot potatoes are tender, add white sauce and bacon.
Mix until blended.
