Ingredients
- 1 tp vanilla
- 5 cups rhubarb
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 2 tb cornstarch
- 1/4 cups water
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1-1/2 cups oatmeal
- 1/2 tp baking soda

Preparation
Step 1
Cook vanilla, rhubarb, sugar, cornstarch and water until thick.
Crust:
Mix shortening, brown sugar, flour, oatmeal and baking soda.
Pat half of crust mixture in large cookie sheet pan, then filling, then rest of mixture.
Bake at 375 F for 35 minutes.
