Ingredients
- 4 stalks broccoli, stems and florets
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tablespoon date sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dr. Fuhrman's VegiZest
- 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- pinch red pepper flakes, to taste
- 1 8-ounce can sliced water chestnuts

Preparation
Step 1
Peel broccoli stems, then cut up the florets and stems into small pieces and steam for 8 minutes. In a
small pan combine the rest of the ingredients, reserving water chestnuts, but using liquid from the can.
Simmer on low heat for a few minutes. Add water chestnuts and then mix in with the broccoli.
