Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp (squirts) ketchup
  • 1 tbsp (squirt) mustard
  • 1 tbsp (squirt) Italian dressing
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz (small can) tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Step 1

Preheat oven to 380 degrees.

In a small, microwave safe bowl, combine bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Add 1/4 cup of olive oil and microwave ingredients for 1 minute. Set aside to cool.

In a separate bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, ketchup, mustard, Italian dressing, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Mix with hands or paddle spoon.

Drain olive oil from the vegetables and add them to the meat mixture. Combine. Transfer mixture into a small loaf pan. Pour tomato sauce over mixture and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake at 380 degrees for 35 minutes, or until the turkey mixture reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. If desired, drain off any excess liquid after baking. Enjoy!
