Fisherman's Crispy Coating

  • 1 egg
  • 1 C milk
  • 1 C crisp rice cereal crushed
  • 1/4 C flour
  • 1/4 C cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon-pepper
  • 1/4 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/8 tsp onion salt
  • 1/8 tsp garlic salt
  • 4 whitefish fillets ( 1 3/4 to 2 lbs)

Step 1

In a shallow bowl whisk together the egg and milk and in another bowl combine the cereal flour cornmeal and seasonings. Dip the fish fillets into the egg mixture then coat with cereal mixture. In a large skillet heal oil or med heat Fry the fillets for 5-7 mins on each side or until fish flakes easily with fork.
