Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon or salted pork
- 1/2 cup fine chopped onion
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 Tbsp. all purpose flour
- 2 cans minced clams with liquid
- 1 cup bottled clam juice
- 1 cup half and half
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley

Step 1
1. in sauce pan saute bacon/pork until crispy brown. remove, drain and crumble on paper towel.
2.then saute onion and potato for a couple of minutes then sprinkle with flour.
3. add clam juice from can and bottle . stir to combine. Bring to a boil, simmer 15 min until potatoes are done, stirring occasionally.
4. add half and half and season to taste with salt and pepper.
5. add clams and simmer (don't boil) sprinkle with parsley and bacon on top serve immediately.
