Ingredients
- Beer batter:
- 12 fillet of cod, Pollack, or other white fish cut in strips
- Corn tortillas
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup beer
- Garlic powder, red, and black pepper to taste
- White sauce:
- 1 cup mayo
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- Other:
- 1 head of green cabbage shredded
- 1 limes cut into wedges
- Salsa

Preparation
Step 1
Mix white sauce ingredients and set aside. Mix flour and spices and add beer, stirring well. Wash fish by dipping in cold, lightly salted water. Dry fish before dipping in batter. Heat vegetable oil to 375 degrees. Cook fish until batter is lightly browned. Heat tortillas until hot and soft. On each, layer fish, white sauce, cabbage and salsa. Top with a squeeze of lime.
