Ingredients
- 3 quarts water
- 1/2 large lemon, sliced
- 2 pounds unpeeled large fresh shrimp
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/8 cup hot sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp. olive oil
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
- 3/4 tsp. dried basil
- 3/4 tsp. dried oregano
- 3/4 tsp. dried thyme
- 3/4 tsp. minced fresh parsley

Preparation
Step 1
Bring water and lemon to boil; add shrimp, and cook 3-5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Drain well; rinse with cold water. Chill. Peel and devein shrimp. Place shrimp in a large shallow dish.
Combine vegetable oil and remaining ingredients; stir well, and pour over shrimp. Cover and chill 8 hours. Drain before serving.
