Big Fish Blackening Spice

Recipe obtained when taking a cooking class at a local restaurant. Recipe downsized from restaurant size, so measurements may seem a bit odd. (Original quantities included in parentheses.)

Ingredients

• 1/4 c + 2 T + 1 1/4 t paprika (8 c)
• 1 T + 1 3/4 t salt (2 c)
• 2 T + 1 3/4 t garlic powder (3 1/4 c)
• 2 T + 1 3/4 t onion powder (3 1/4 c)
• 1 T white pepper (1 1/4 c)
• 1/2 t cayenne (2 1/2 T)
• 2 T + 1 1/4 t thyme (3 c)
• 2 T + 1 1/4 t parsley flakes (3 c)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine ingredients. Store in airtight container. Use to season meats.
