Ingredients
- 2 med potaotes, 1/4" dice
- 1 sm onion, minced
- 1 rib celery, chopped
- 5 c clam juice, divided
- 1 c water
- 1 T fresh thyme
- 1 T butter
- 1 t worcestershire sauce-or to taste
- 1/2 t salt-or to taste
- fresh ground pepper to taste
- 2 c minced clams
- 4 c heavy cream

Preparation
Step 1
Combine in large pot-potatoes, onion, celery, 1 c clam juice, water, thyme, butter, worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper. Bring to boiling, reduce heat and cook 20 min until potatoes are soft. Stir in clams; cook 5 minutes. Add 4 c clam juice & heavy cream. Heat to simmer.
