Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup finely chopped white onion
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 20 ounce package lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/4 cup dried parsley, crumbled
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup ketcup
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • table grind black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter in a small skillet over medium high heat. Add onions and garlic and saute until tender about 5 minutes. Transfer mixture to a large bowl, cool for 5 minutes
2.Add ground turkey,breadcrumbs,egg, 1/4 cup ketcup,Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently and don't overmix
3.Press meatloaf mixture into a 8X4 glass loaf pan. Spread remaining ketcup over top
4. Bake for one hour. Let stand at room temperature for 5 minutes prior to slicing
