Cedar Planked Atlantic Salmon

  • 4 Salmon fillets, skinless
  • 1 cedar plank, soaked 4-6 hours
  • 2 tsp. BBQ seasoning
  • sea salt
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup dill
  • 1/4 cup shallots
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • juice of 1 lemon



Step 1

Preheat grill to high. Sprinkle BBQ seasoning on salmon. Combine ingredients for crust mixture and spread over each fillet. Season plank with sea salt and place on grill. Close lid and heat 3-5 mins. until plank starts to crackle and smoke. Lift lid and place salmon on hot plank. Close lid and bake 12-15 mins. Check for flames. Squeeze lemon over fillets.
