    tsp salt

  • 1/8

    tsp pepper

  • 1/2

    tsp paprika

  • 3

    large chicken breasts, skin removed

  • ( I cut these into bite sized pieces)

    Tblsp hard margarine

  • NUTTY SAUCE

    cups sliced mushrooms

  • 2

    Tblsp flour

  • 1/2

    tsp salt

  • 1/4

    tsp pepper

  • 1/4

    tsp garlic powder

  • 3/4

    cup apple juice

  • 1

    cup milk

  • 3

    Tblsp toasted hazelnuts or sliced almonds

Directions

Shake first 4 ingredients together and add chicken pieces to coat Melt margarine in pan and add chicken to brown. Transfer to oven proof dish. Add margarine to same fry pan. Add mushrooms. Saute to brown Mix in flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Stir in apple juice and stir until it boils and thickens. Stir in milk and nuts. Mix well and pour over chicken and bake in oven for 30-40 mins at 350F.
