- 5 lbs. onions, chopped
- 2 lbs. okra, chopped
- 1 lb. crab meat
- 2 lbs. crab claws
- 1/2 pt. oysters
- 1 c. parsley, chopped
- 1 c. onion tops, chopped
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 c. rice, cooked
1.Smother okra well in pot
2.In a separate pot, brown flour.
3.After browning flour, add onion and smother and brown.
4.Add okra and let cook for about 10 minutes.
5.Add all vegetables and seasoning.
6.Add about 8 quarts of water and let boil.
8.Cook for 10 to 15 minutes then add crab meat and crab claws and cook for about 10 minutes.
9.Serve over cooked rice.
