  • 16 oz loaf of baguette style French bread
  • 1 c shredded sharp cedar cheese
  • 1/2 c butter softened
  • 1.3 c cooked bacon pieces
  • 2 med green onions, sliced
  • 2 t yellow mustard
  • 1 t lemon juice

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Use a knife to cut bread crosswise into 1 inch slices but not all the way through the bottom.

In a small bowl, stir together cheese, butter, bacon, green onions, mustard and lemon juice. Spread mixture between slices of bread. Wrap loaf in fouil.

Bake for 10-15 min or until bread is heated though and cheese is melted.
