Peanut Brittle Minus the Peanuts

Ingredients

  • 1

    sleeve salted saltines

  • 1

    cup brown sugar

  • 1

    cup butter

  • 2

    cups chocolate chips

Directions

Line a baking sheet with sprayed foil . Line pan with saltines (cover the pan but don't layer the crackers) Bring sugar and butter to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour over crackers Bake at 350°F for approximately 8 minutes. Cool for about 5 minutes, and then sprinkle with 2 cups chocolate chips. Wait 10 minutes for the chocolate chips to get melted, then spread melted chips over entire platter. Freeze or refirgerate then break into serving size and serve.
