Ingredients

  • 12 oz. bulk pork sausage
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 1 green onion
  • 1/4 c chopped celery
  • 1/4 c chopped green pepper
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 pkg. 3 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 2 tbs minced parcley
  • 1 tube 8oz crescent rolls
  • 1 egg lightly beaten

Preparation

Step 1

In skillet, cook sausage, onion, celery green pepper & garlic till meat is no longer pink & ves. are tender
Drain
Add cream cheese, green onion & parcely. Cook & stir over low heat till cheese is melted. Set asike. Unroll crescent dough on a greased bking sheet. Press prefarations together. Roll to 2x10" rectangle. Spoon sausage to within 3" of long sides and 1 " of ends. On each long side, cut 3/4" wide strips into center at qn angle, forming a braid . Brush with egg & bake
