Ingredients

  • 1/2

    cup butter

  • 1/2

    cup flour

  • 1 1/2

    cup chicken broth

  • 1

    Qt half & half

  • 1

    cup milk

  • 1

    T fresh parsley(1 tsp dry)

  • 1

    T Old Bay

  • 1

    # Lump crab meat

Directions

-Make a roux of butter and flour til smooth. -Slowly stir in broth, simmer 2 min. -Slowly stir in 1/2&1/2 and milk. -Continue to stir until thick, don't rush... -Add parsley and Old Bay. -Gently stir in crab and heat through. notes:carefully pick through and clean crab meat carefully. Serve with homemade croutons...(dry-toss-sprinkle-dry).
