Slow Cooker Fall-Apart Boston Butt {Pulled Pork}

  • 3-4 lb Boston butt
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • sprinkle of salt
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce

Step 1

1. Place your meat in the crock pot and pour 1 cup of apple juice on top. Sprinkle some salt into the apple juice and on top of the meat.
2. Add 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1/3 cup of Worcestershire sauce.
3. Cover and put on High for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to Low and cook for 8 hours or until meat is fall-apart tender.

To make barbecue pulled pork: 30 minutes before you're ready to serve, shred the meat with two forks and remove from the slow cooker. Dump out all of the juice and place the shredded pork back into the slow cooker. Add in one jar of your favorite barbecue sauce and mix well.
