Ultimate Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 3 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 5 lg. potatoes, peeled amd cut 1 in. pieces
- 3 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 2 tbls. butter
- Dash pepper
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/4 c. fresh chives

Preparation
Step 1
Heat broth and potatoes in 3 qt. saucepan over med heat to a boil.
Reduce heat to med. Cover and cook for 10 min or until potatoes are tender. Drain, reserving broth. Cook bacon in 8 in shillet. Crumble and reserve 2 tbls.
Mash potatoes with 1/4 c. broth, cream, butter, and pepper. Add additional broth, if needed, until desired consistency. Stir in sour cream, chives and remaining bacon into potatoes. Sprinkle with reserved bacon
