Figs Stuffed With Almonds And Chips
- 6 medium figs or dates
- 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds
- 1 tablespoon orange liqueur (or Marsala wine)
Combine chocolate chips, almonds, and wine.
Cut each fig in half. Spoon about 2 teaspoon of the stuffing mixture into each fig half. (If you cannot find fresh figs, use dried figs. Cut a little opening in the top of the fig and make a pocket for the stuffing.)
Bake at 350 degrees on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes.
