Ingredients
- turkey or chicken, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 onion
- 4 stalks celery, with leaves
- 5-8 carrots
- 3-5 bay leaves
- 1-2 cups white rice
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- broth

Preparation
Step 1
To the broth, add meat, onion, celery, carrots and bay leaves. Simmer for another 2-3 hours. Add rice. If uncooked, cook another hour or 2. Add salt and pepper to taste. If rice is cooked, add 5 minutes before serving.
