Ingredients
- 6 tbsp butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 6 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp savory
- 1/2 tsp parsley flakes
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 4 cups turkey, cubed
- 5 medium carrots, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups turkey stock
- 1 pkg frozen peas

Preparation
Step 1
In a soup pot over medium heat, melt butter. Add onion and celery, saute 4 minutes or until tender. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, savory and parsley; cook until bubbling. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
Add turkey and carrots; then add stock until soup is desired consistency and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
