  • 1 Cup Sugar (I used Splenda sugar blend)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Large Box Vanilla instant pudding (5.1 oz)
  • (I substituted 2 1.5 Oz sugar free instant Vanilla it worked fine)
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 Cup chopped nuts (optional)

Heat a large saucepan or Dutch oven over medium high heat

  • your own:
  • 2 bunches Collard Greens
  • (ribs removed and chopped, about 2 lbs.)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 4 tbsp Grape Seed Oil or Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Mustard Seed Oil
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt or Himalayan Salt
  • 6 tbsp chopped fresh Cilantro
  • Use store bought spice blend, or use the recipe below to make
  • Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp whole Cloves
  • 2 tbsp Black Peppercorns
  • 1 sm stick Cinnamon
  • Grind all ingredients in a spice grinder or mortar and pestle
