  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup (or agave nectar)
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • pinch fine grain sea salt, to taste
  • 3/4 cup raw walnuts, roughly chopped

  • Make Date Puree:
  • 1 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
  • 3 tablespoons Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt (I used Peach, but would suggest Vanilla!)
  • 3/4 cups Pumpkin
  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • 1/4 cup Agave Nectar
  • 16 ounces Cream Cheese 1/3 Fat (for frosting)
  • 1/3 cup Date Puree (for frosting)
  • Blend 1 cup of pitted dates (I used an immersion blender)
  • Add 1/3 cup of super hot water and continue to blend until smooth
