Slow Roasted Pulled Pork

Ingredients list is long but easy to throw in a crock pot
- 3-5 Pound Pork Shoulder or Butt
- 1 t Dried Sage
- 1 t Dried Rosemary
- 1 1/2 t Kosher Salt
- 1/2 t Black Pepper
- 1 T Brown Sugar
- 10 Whole Cloves Garlic, peeled but intact
- 1 T Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Dijon Mustard
- 1/4 Cup Honey
- 1/2 Cup Dried Cranberries (unsweetened preferred but sweetened are okay)
- 3 Bay Leaves
- 1 Cup Beer
Rhubarb Cake

Line pan with fresh rhubarb cake
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tspn salt
- 1 cup sweet cream
- 1-1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tspn soda
- 1/2 cup from sugar
- 1/2 cup coconut or nuts
- 3/4 tspn cinnamon
Pumpkin Pie Cake

Mix together first six ingredients and put in cake pan
- 1 large can pumpkin
- *2 tblspn pumpkin spice
- 1 cup can milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tspn vanilla
- 1 Duncan Aires Spice Cake Mix
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- *If buy canned pumpkin pie mix eliminate pumpkin pie spice.
Country Ham-Wrapped Peaches with Goat Cheese Sauce

Preheat oven to 500 degrees
- 1 T vegetable oil
- 2 large, ripe peaches
- 16 slices country ham or prosciutto (each 3"x2" and a thin as you can get it)
- 1/2 C (3 oz) fresh goat cheese
- 1/2 C buttermilk
- 1/4 t kosher salt
- 1/4 t cayenne pepper
- 3 T balsamic vinegar
Giblet Broth

Prepare the broth the day before Thanksgiving
- Giblets and neck from turkey
- 2 14oz cans chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 2 celery ribs, with leaves
- 2 onions, unpeeled and halved
- 2 cloves of garlic, bruised
- 4 sprigs parsley, thyme or sage
- 3 whole cloves
- 3 whole black peppercorns
- salt, to taste
Chicken Liver Pate

Cook liver in butter until no longer pink, put in blender with other ingredients, blending well
- 1 pound chicken livers
- 3 tblspn mayonnaise
- 3 tblspn lemon juice
- 2 tblspn soft butter
- 1 tblspn fine chopped onion
- 8-10 drops tabasco
- 1/2 tspn salt
- 1/2 tspn dry mustard
- dash of pepper

- 170 grs butter
- 250 grs iced sugar
- 125 grs almond powder
- 50 grs flour
- 5 eggs white
Aunt Birdie's Potato Salad

- 3 pounds small potatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons water
Jamie Oliver's Peach & Prosciutto Salad with Mozzarella

Easy, fresh & delicious
- 2 C mixed baby greens
- 1/4 lb prosciutto, thinly sliced
- 3 peaches, pit removed and cut into wedges (peeled or unpeeled optional)
- 2 Buffalo mozzarella cheese balls, torn into bite size pieces
- 2 T olive oil
- 2 T fresh lemon juice
- salt
- pepper
Arugula Salad

- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
