Curried Shrimp

In frying pan add vegetable oil, saute onion and apple and celery for 7 minutes
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup peeled apple
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 pound medium cleaned shrimp
Vegetable Dip

Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl
- 1 cup mayonnaise (Hellmanns or Best Foods)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion (scallion)
- 1/4 cup minced parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped water chestnuts
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt

Philly and the big apple combine here for a wonderful cheesecake recipe
- 20 OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 2-1/4 cups)*
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 5 packages (8-ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 eggs
- 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling

*Vanilla Almond Granola:* Combine brown sugar, butter and honey and bring to a boil in a saucepan

- 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla

- 1 c. chopped or slivered almonds
- Cinnamon Raisin Granola:
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter {I use 1/4 c. butter and 1/4 c. coconut oil}
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 7 c. old-fashioned oats
- 1 c. raisins
- Maple Granola:
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter {I use 1/4 c. butter and 1/4 c. coconut oil}
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1/4 c. real maple syrup
- 2 tsp. vanilla

Mom’s Big Chocolate Chippers

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl; mix well and set aside
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1/2 t. salt
- 3/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 T. vanilla extract

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Spread walnuts in ungreased shallow pan
- 1/2 cup walnut halves and pecans
- 1 can (13.8 ounce) refrigerated classic pizza crust
- 2/3 cup basil pesto
- 1 box (9 ounce) frozen chopped spinach; thawed, squeezed to drain
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, patted dry, cut int 1/4-inch slices
- 1/2 cup well-drained artichoke hearts (from 14 ounce can) coarsely chopped
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese (4 ounces)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
Alea’s Asian Chicken Skillet

Brown chicken in large skillet with lid
- 3/4 lb. chicken cut into bite size pieces
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 celery stalks, thinly sliced
- 1 cup julienned carrots
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, mined
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce ( I use gluten-free soy sauce)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 honey or sugar
- 3 tablespoons grated ginger (tip for freezing leftover ginger)
- 1 cup white basmati rice
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds (optional)
- 2 cups broccoli, finely chopped
Meatballs with Salsa Verde

1. To blender, add tomatillos, onion, garlic, jalapeños, chicken bouillon and 1 cup water
- Sauce:
- 1 can (oz.) Whole Tomatillos, drained
- 3/4 medium yellow onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
- 2 tsp. Minced Garlic
- 2 Whole Jalapeños
- 1 packet Chicken Bouillon
- GOYA® Adobo All- Purpose Seasoning with Pepper, to taste meatballs
- 3/4 lb. lean ground beef
- 3/4 lb. lean ground pork
- GOYA® Adobo All- Purpose Seasoning with Pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs made with Sazonador Total, soaked in 1/4 cup milk
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/4 medium yellow onion, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 tbsp. chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp. Dried Oregano
