Quick And Easy Pastele Stew

In a large pot, heat 2 tbsp oil on medium high heat
- 1 1 3 to 4 (boneless) with some fat 3 to 4 lbs in weight, cut into bite-size pieces
- 5 5 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 2 2 medium onions, diced
- 3 3 3 stalks celery, diced
- 2 2 2 packets ACHIOTE seasoning (Sazon Goya Brand Con Cilantro Achiote seasoning)
- 1 1 1 bunch cilantro (Chinese parsley) chopped
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 bell pepper, diced
- 2 2 2 cans tomato sauce plus two cans of water
- 1 1 1 can tomato paste
- to Salt and cracked black pepper, to taste
- 2 2 2 cans whole pitted olives, drain
- 6-8 6-8 6-8 carrots
- 6-8 6-8 6-8 potatoes
- 3 to 4 3 to 4 4 Hawaiian chili peppers (optional)

Gandulez Guisados Con Papas y Hoyas de Recao

- Bollitos (Dumplings):
- 14 14 bag 14 oz. bag of frozen gandules (if using fresh, frozen or dried, boil until softened)
- 2 2 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup sofrito
- 1 8 1 8 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 1 1 packet Sazón Goya
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup smoked cooking ham, chopped
- 6 6 6 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon cumin, ground
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 1 1 1 bay leaf
- 2 2 2 green plantains, peeled and grated (using the smallest holes on hand grate. If you have a food processor it would be best… You would get a smoother batter).
- to and pepper to taste
- 1 1 1 packet Sazón Goya (see picture above)
- 2 2 2 tablespoons of olive oil

- White Cake Mix (2 boxes)
- Follow the directions for the mix with eggs, oil and water.
- Kool-Aid drink packets (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)

- 1 1 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
