Rhubarb Crumble Cupcakes

Place rack in center of oven and preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cupcakes:
- 1 bag (16 ounces) frozen rhubarb or fresh chopped rhubarb, increase water to 1 cup
- 1 package (18.25 ounces plain white cake mix
- 1 package (3.4 ounces) vanilla instant pudding mix
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Crumble Topping:
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) cold butter
- Heaping 1/3 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans

- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup pecan, lightly chopped
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Batter:
- 2 cups flour

- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

- 2-1/2 cups hot mashed potatoes
