Apple Spice Muffins with Walnut Streusel

- FOR STREUSEL:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 tablespoons unbleached all purpose flour
- 2 cups walnuts, finely chopped
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into cubes
- FOR MUFFINS:
- 3 Honeycrisp apples, peeled, cored, and diced (about 3 cups)
- 1 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon angostura bitters (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder, aluminum free
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Dylan's Blueberry PEach and Flax Cookies

1. Preheat oven to 350. 2
- 4 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 tblsp flaxseeds
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup water

1. Preheat the oven to 350
- FOR THE COOKIES:
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teas salt
- 1 teas baking powder
- 1 teas baking soda
- 2 tblsp cinnamon
- 1 tblsp ginger
- 1 tblsp cloves
- 2 cups firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 cups chilled pumpkin puree
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teas pure vanilla extract
- FOR FILLING:
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 teas pure vanilla extract
Whole Wheat Pumpkin Waffles

1.Preheat waffle iron. 2
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg, separated
- 1/2 cup plain pureed pumpkin
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp canola oil
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg

1. Preheat oven to 375. In a large bowl combine butter and shortening
- Add Ins & Variations:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup packec brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, or apple pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or 1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3 cups rolled oats
- Cranberry-Pumpkin: 1/2 cup canned pumpkin and 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- Tropical: 1/2 cup toasted coconut, 1/2 cup chopped dried pineapple or mango, and 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
- PB&J: 1 cup peanut butter pieces, after dropping dough, use your thumb or a spoon to make an indentation in the top of each dough mound; sopoon 1/4 to 1/23 teaspoon strawberry jam into each indentation.
- Triple - Chip: 1 cup each butterscotch pieces, white baking pieces, and bittersweet chocolate pieces.
BBQ Beef Sandwiches

- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 boneless beef chuck roast (3 pounds)
- 14 sesame seed hamburger buns, split

- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 jalapenos, stems, seeds, and membranes removed
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons bottled minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
