Breakfast Casserole, Make ahead

Saute sausage until no longer pink, then drain
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 6 TB butter
- 6 slices bread, no crusts
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 5 eggs
- 2 cups half and half
- 1 tsp salt
Mazel Dressing

Combine all ingredients. Whisk well or combine in a jar and shake well
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 cup sesame oil
- 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
- ginger
- pepper
Orange Julius

Combine all ingredients except ice in a blender and blend on high for 15-20 seconds or until sugar is dissolved
- 1 1/4 cups orange juice
- 1 cup water
- 3 TB egg substitute
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups ice
Cole Slaw

Whisk together dressing in large bowl
- Dressing:
- 1 bag cole slaw
- 1/2 bunch green onions
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 pkg Ramen noodles, crushed (throw away seasoning packet)
- 1 pkg sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt or Mrs Dash
Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars

Combine flour and brown sugar in a medium bowl
- 1 cup flour
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 5 TB butter, softened
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup pumpkin
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp vanilla
Summer Coleslaw

Mix dressing ingredients in large bowl
- Dressing:
- 6 cups coleslaw
- 1 yellow pepper, slivered
- 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- 1/4 cup scallions, sliced
- 1 cup chicken pieces, optional
- 1/3 cup mayo
- 1 tsp cider vinegar
- salt
- pepper
Candy Cane Crackles

Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheet with parchment
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
- 1/2 tsp each baking soda and salt
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1/3 cup each light brown sugar and granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 8 oz candy canes, finely crushed
- 4 oz bittersweet (70% cocoa solids) chocolate, chopped into chip-size bits
Rhubarb Crisp

Preheat oven to 375. Note: If rhubarb is frozen, thaw and do not drain
- 1 lb rhubarb, cut into 3/4 inch pieces, about 4 cups
- Red food coloring
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cup flour, separated
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted but not hot
- 1/2 cup walnuts (or more)
Pasta con Broccolo

- White Sauce:
- 1 1/2 lb broccoli
- 16 oz rigatoni
- 2 TB olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, slivered
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 cup white sauce
- 1 tsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/3 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, plus more for garnish
- 2 TB butter
- 2 TB flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 tsp salt
- dash pepper
Peach Cobbler
