Bring a large pot of salted water to boil
- 1 pound whole wheat or multi grain penne
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 ounces goat cheese
- 1 ounce reduced fat cream cheese
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 6 ounces fresh baby spinach leaves
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan

This will work with any pie dough recipe and filling
- 1 pound prepared pie dough, cut into 4 pieces
- 2 large green apples, peeled and cored
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon water, or more if needed (optional)
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons milk

- 2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
