Hamburger Soup

Brown ground beef with onion
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 8 c. water
- 2 c. sliced carrots
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 5 potatoes, cubed
- 1 can tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes
- 2 tsp salt; 3/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 dashes of thyme
- 2 dashes of oregano
- Dash of garlic powder
Baked Club Sandwich Rounds

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray
- 1 lb. bacon
- 1 (11-oz.) can Pillsbury® Refrigerated Crusty French Loaf
- 4 oz. (1 c.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 oz. thinly sliced cooked deli turkey
- 2 oz. thinly sliced cooked deli ham
Green Jell-O Salad

In large bowl mix all jello & boiling water
- 2 small Lime Jello
- 1 small Lemon Jello
- 3 c. boiling water
- 8 oz. Cream cheese
- 1 can evaporated milk (chilled)
- 1 can crushed pineapple w/juice
Frozen Fruit Slush Salad

Mix all together. Freeze. Thaw in fridge about 15 hours or until slushy
- 10 oz. frozen strawberries
- 15 1/4 oz. tropical fruit salad
- 17 oz. fruit cocktail
- 16 oz. sliced peaches
- 8 oz. 7-up
- some bananas
Crunchy Taco Cups

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- 1 lb lean ground beef, browned and drained
- 1 envelope (3 tablespoons) taco seasoning
- 1 (10-oz) can Ro-Tel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles
- 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (or Mexican blend)
- 24 wonton wrappers
Szechuan Chicken

This spicy Szechuan chicken recipe gets its heat from Tabasco sauce, cayenne pepper and crushed chilies
- Sauce:
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, about 7 ounces each
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons Shao Xing rice wine, dry sherry or cooking wine
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed dried red chilies, or to taste
- 2 slices ginger, minced, to form 1 tablespoon
- Other:
- 4 carrots, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Chicken Tortilla Crockpot Soup

Place chicken, tomatoes, enchilada sauce, onion, green chiles, and garlic into a slow cooker
- 1 pound shredded, cooked chicken
- 1 (15 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes, mashed
- 1 (10 ounce) can enchilada sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups water
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen corn
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 7 corn tortillas
- vegetable oil

- 1 pkg 8 oz cream cheese
