Creamy Baked Fettuccine with Asiago and Thyme (Adult Mac.& Chesse)

Excellent pasta dish, flavorful and creamy
- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups grated Asiago cheese, plus 1/4 cup
- 2 (8-ounce) containers creme fraiche
- 1 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh chopped thyme leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Fruit and Gruyere Salad with Dijon-Honey Dressing

Simple and delicious salad! I made this for Christmas Eve this past year and thought it was the perfect accompanim
- Salad:
- 4 ripe pears, cored and cut into 1/2-inch wedges
- 4 large Gala or Granny Smith apple, cored and cut into 1/2-inch thick wedges
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 pound Gruyere cheese, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices, then cut into 1-inch pieces
- 4 cups seedless red grapes, cut in half
- 1 cup pecan or walnut halves, toasted (optional)
- Dressing:
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
