Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 onion, diced
- salt to taste
- 8 ounces spicy Italian sausages, casings removed
- 3 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth, divided, or as needed
- 1 1/4 cups orecchiette pasta, or more to taste
- 1/2 cup roughly chopped arugula, or to taste
- 1/4 cup finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, or to taste
Freezer Spaghetti Sauce

. In a slow cooker saute together the onion, garlic, green pepper, and vegetable oil
- 4 onions, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 16 cups chopped tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons dried basil
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons salt

1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in water
- TOPPING:
- 1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 cup warm water (110° to 115°)
- 3/4 cup warm milk (110° to 115°)
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2-1/4 to 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup whole milk

Lemon Wreaths

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- For the Cookies
- 3 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for surface
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 1/4 teaspoons coarse salt
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
- 8 ounces (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- For the Glaze
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar
- 7 to 8 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (from 4 lemons)
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons white nonpareils, for sprinkling

- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- 3 slices bread, crumbled
- 1/2 to 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 stick butter, melted in baking pan
- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger citron vodka
- 1/2 fluid ounce Blue Curacao
- 2 fluid ounces sour mix
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
- 1 lemon - cut into wedges, for garnish

- 1 1/2 (8.8-ounce) pouches precooked brown rice (such as Uncle Ben's)
- 2 tablespoons lower-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sambal oelek (ground fresh chile paste)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil, divided
- 10 ounce medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups sugar snap peas, diagonally sliced
- 1/3 cup unsalted, dry-roasted peanuts
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Butternut Squash Pie

- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
