Mojito Moonshine

Simple Syrup In a small saucepan, add sugar, water and mint; bring to a boil
- Moonshine
- 1 bunch of mint
- 2 59 oz containers of limeade
- 375 ml Everclear (191 proof) grain alcohol
- 1 cup light rum
- 1 batch of simple syrup recipe included
- 3 limes
- Simple Syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 bunch of mint roughly chopped or broken into large chunks
Pork Marinade

Mix and marinate pork shoulder for 1 hour
- 1/2 tsp. ginger powder
- 1 tsp. sherry
- 3 tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Chicken Noodle Soup

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- 1 whole (2 split) chicken breast, bone in, skin on
- Olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 quarts homemade Chicken Stock (see recipe)
- 1 cup medium-diced celery (2 stalks)
- 1 cup medium-diced carrots (3 carrots)
- 2 cups wide egg noodles
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

- 3 eggs
- 6 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 (3.5-ounce) can coconut, or 1 cup, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Three-Chile Beef Chili

With coffee, dark beer, smoky bacon and three kinds of chiles, this is one deep, rich, spicy pot of beef chili
- 2 ancho chiles
- 2 dried New Mexico chiles
- 3 dried chipotle chile
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds, toasted
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, toasted
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard seeds, toasted
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 whole garlic cloves, plus 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- Three 14.5-ounce cans peeled whole tomatoes, drained
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 large onion, diced
- 6 ounces meaty bacon, diced (1 cup)
- 6 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups stout beer
- 2 cups brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips
- 8 cilantro sprigs, coarsely chopped
- Kosher salt
- Three 15-ounce cans pinto beans, rinsed and drained
Portobello Mushroom Chili

Cook the onions on medium heat in a large pot with oil
- 1 1/2 lbs. Portobello mushrooms, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 (19 oz.) can red kidney beans
- 1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes (Italian Style)
- 2 medium onions, diced
- 2 cloves, garlic, chopped
- 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- salt to taste
Fudgy Stout Brownies

Cook beer in a medium saucepan over medium heat until reduced to 1/2 cup, 20 to 25 minutes
- 2 c. stout beer
- 2 (4-ounce) bars bittersweet chocolate, chopped and divided
- 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. flaked sea salt, divided
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
- 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 oz can pumpkin puree 29 .
- 2 1/2 cups dark brown sugar packed
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 cups 190 proof grain alcohol
- 2 cups whipped cream vodka

- 2 tablespoons cognac
