CHICKEN PASTA SALAD

Cook pasta according to package directions
- 1 cup uncooked spiral pasta
- 1 cup cubed cooked chicken
- 1 celery rib, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped white onion
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ranch salad dressing mix
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the chicken, green pepper, carrot, celery, onions and peas.
- In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch dressing mix, garlic salt, paprika and cayenne. Drain pasta and rinse in cold water; add to chicken mixture. Add dressing and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

- 1 SLICE BEEF SHANK WITH MEAT ATTACHED
- 1 LARGE CARTON BEEF STOCK OR BROTH
- 2 CELERY STALKS, SOME LEAVES INCLUDED
- 1 MEDIUM SWEET ONION
- 3 CARROTS
- 2 POTATOES
- 1 12 OUNCE CAN V8 OR TOMATO JUICE
- SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE
- CAN ADD 2 SMALL ZUCCHINI, PEELED, SEEDED AND CHOPPED
CORNISH PASTYS

CAN HALVE RECIPE
- 12 Cornish Pasties.
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups lard
- 1 cup cold water
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 5 carrots, diced (optional)
- 2 rutabagas, diced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 10 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 . To make crust, place flour and salt in a large bowl. Mix well, then cut in lard until the mixture is crumbly. Stir in water, mixing until dough forms a ball. Allow the dough to rest in the refriger
- 2 . To make filling, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil, then onions. If using carrots and rutabagas, add them now. Saute vegetables until soft, about 10 minutes.
- 3 . Add ground beef, ground pork, and green onions to skillet. Saute until meat is no longer pink. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 4 . Divide dough into 12 portions and roll out each one to fit a 9" pie plate.
- 5 . Place a pastry circle in a pie pan. Fill one half of the pan with meat filling. Dot with some of the butter or margarine. Pat the edge of the crust with water, then fold over the other half of the
- 6 . Bake at 425 degrees F in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
CORN FRITTER BREAD

Place the ingredients in the bread pan in the order recommended by your machine's manufacturer
- 1/3 cup water
- 3 cup bread flour
- 3 tablespoon dry milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3/4 cup drained canned corn
- 2 tablespoon dried chopped chives
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

FATHER'S BEEF STROGANOFF

Directions PREHEAT OVEN TO 300 BROWN SEASONED BEEF IN SOME HOT OIL
- 1-2 lb boneless beef CHUCK, CUBED
- 1 CAN BEEF BROTH
- 1 onion
- season salt (to taste)
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans condensed golden mushroom soup
- 8 ounces sour cream (two to one ratio on soups important. don't cut out Golden mushroom or do one each changes the flavor)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 (12 ounce) package cooked egg noodles
QUICK SOURDOUGH

Stir STARTER ingredients together in order given

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup bread flour
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon yeast

- 1/4 cup warm buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vinegar - any kind
- 2 tablespoon olive oil or margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- (can use mixture of rye, or wheat)

HAM MAC & CHEESE CASSEROLE

- 1 block cheddar, grated (16 oz)
