COPYCAT STARBUCKS CARAMEL SCONES

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
- # Topping:
- # 3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- # 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- # 3/4 cup light or heavy cream
- # 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- # 1/2 teaspoon salt
- # 1 tablespoon baking powder
- # Modest pinch of nutmeg or cloves??
- # 1 cup milk or heavy cream
- # 1 egg
- # 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- # 1/2 teaspoon butterscotch extract (optional)
- # 1 cup butterscotch chips
- # 1/2 cup grated walnuts (optional)
- # 1/3 cup butterscotch chips, finely chopped in food processor
- # 1 egg white, whisked
- # confectioners' sugar (optional)
TOMATO FRITTERS

1. In large bowl combine flour, sugar and dried basil leaves; set aside
- 1 cup SELF RISING flour
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 (28-ounce) can tomatoes, well-drained
- 1 tablespoon finely minced onion
- 1 tablespoon minced flat-leaf parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce??
- 2 large eggs
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Makes about 2 dozen fritters.
FROSTING FOR TIRIMISU CAKE

Stir coffee crystals and hot water in medium bowl until crystals dissolve
- 1/4 cup instant coffee crystals
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 1 container frozen whipped topping - (8 oz) thawed
- 1 container classic chocolate fudge frosting - (16 oz)
GOLDEN MUSHROOM PORK CHOPS

Directions 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)
- 6 * 6 pork chops
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 * 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
- 1 * 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
MASCARPONE FROSTING FOR TIRAMISU CAKE

- 8 OZ MASCARPONE CHEESE
- 1/2 CUP POWDERED SUGAR
- BLEND WELL TOGETHER AND SERVE WITH CAKE.
PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY BREAD

Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order suggested by the machine's manufacturer
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup jelly
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole-wheat flour
- 2 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
APPLE CIDER BREAD

Put in bread baking pan per manufacturer's directions and bake
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups apple cider
CREAMY FRUIT SALAD

IN A LARGE BOWL COMBINE UN DRAINED PINEAPPLE, DRAINED FRUIT COCKTAIL AND MANDARIN ORANGES
- 1 CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE IN IT'S OWN JUICE-DO NOT DRAIN!
- 1 CAN MANDARIN ORANGES, DRAINED
- 1 LARGE CAN FRUIT COCKTAIL, DRAINED
- 1 PACKAGE INSTANT VANILLA PUDDING
- 1 8 OZ. CARTON COOL WHIP
- 1 CUP MINI MARSHMALLOWS
