G&L Chili Sauce for Chili Dogs

Brown 1 lb. hamburger and add 2 T of the mixture and simmer 20-30 mins
- 1 T oregano
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1 T cumin
- 1 T chili powder
- 1 T celery salt
- 1 T garlic salt
- 2 T salt
- 4 T paprika
- 1 t red pepper
- 4 T onion salt
Coconut Almond Macaroons

Yum! Chewy macaroons with shredded coconut, almond slivers and or chocolate chips if you desire
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large egg whites
- 3 cups unsweetened coconut, shredded
- 3/4 cups slivered almonds (or chocolate chips)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
Coconut-Cashew Pie

Preheat oven to 325°F with rack in the lowest position
- PIECRUST:
- Flour for rolling
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cups roasted, unsalted cashews, chopped
- 3/4 cups coconut chips
Potato Tot Breakfast Casserole

Preheat oven to 350°. Heat a large skillet over medium high
- 1 lb. breakfast sausage
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 12 eggs
- 1/2 c whole milk
- 1 T hot sauce, such as cholula
- 1/2 t kosher salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1-32 oz. bag frozen tater tots
- 8 oz. Colby-Jack cheese (about 2 c), divided
- Chopped fresh chives
Chris' Spinach Salad

In small jar with tight lid, combine salad dressing mix and orange juice
- .07 oz. Pkg Italian salad dressing mix
- 1/2 c orange juice
- 2/3 c oil
- 3 c torn fresh spinach
- 3 c torn lettuce leaves
- 2 oranges, peeled and sectioned
- 2 avocados, peeled and sliced
- 1 c strawberries
Salted Chocolate Truffles

Delicious truffles are healthy made with Medijool dates and unsweetened cocoa
- 12 Medjool dates, pitted
- 6 tablespoons hot water
- 1/2 cup raw walnuts
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 4 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

- 1/2 c milk
- 4 fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1/8 t nutmeg
- 5 oz. frozen spinach, thawed and drained

- 3 T butter
- 1/4 c Asiago cheese

- •2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice (from 1 lime)

- •1 tsp. kosher salt, plus more to taste
- •¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- •¼ tsp. sugar
- •1 shallot, finely chopped
- •½ cup canola or extra-virgin olive oil
- •8 ears corn, shucked, kernels removed (about 6 cups)
- •2 pints cherry tomatoes, halved
- •1 bunch green onions, white and light green parts only, thinly sliced
- •1 cup lightly packed fresh herb leaves (such as basil, cilantro, chives, tarragon, or flat-leaf parsley), finely chopped

- 1 c ground cashews
- 12 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
- 1 c celery, diced fine
- 1/4 c onion, diced fine
- 1/2 c mayonnaise
- 1/4 c sour cream
- 1/2 t Beaumonde seasoning
- 1/2 t sugar
