- 1 T soy sauce
- 1 T cornstarch
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 2 T soy sauce
- 1 T sugar
- 1 T cooking sherry
- 1 ts vinegar
- 2 T oil
- 1 ts crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup scallions
- 1/2 ts ginger powder
- 1/2 cup cocktail peanuts

- For the cake:
- 2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, at room temperature, plus more for greasing pans

- 1 1/2 cups cake flour
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Shrimp Salad

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat
- Kosher salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 lemon, halved
- 1 teaspoon crushed chile flakes
- 2 pounds shrimp (21/25 count), peeled and deveined
- 2 scallions, finely chopped
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 ounce capers
- 1 celery rib, chopped
- 30 cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh oregano
- 1 ounce olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

Directions: Combine the tomatoes, onion, and butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat

- 1 (28 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes, with juices
- 1 onion, peeled and halved
- 5 tbsp. unsalted butter

- 1 Tb. sesame oil (light)
- 1 cup organic peanut butter
- 2 Tb. ginger root- chopped
- 1 Tb. garlic- chopped
- 1 Tb. lemon grass- chopped
- 2 Tb. scallions- chopped
- 1 Tb. sesame seeds- toasted
- 1/2 bu. cilantro, chopped
- 2 Tb. rice vinegar
- 2 Tb. agave nectar
- Water to adjust consistency
