Ramen Salad

I would have to say this is one of my very favorite salads
- DRESSING:
- 1 small head of cabbage, shredded
- 4 green onion, sliced
- 1 package Ramen noodles, crushed/uncooked
- 3 Tbs sesame seeds, toasted
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
- in a small amount of oil over medium heat
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3 Tbs white vinegar
- 3 Tbs sugar
- Flavor packet from noodles

Bev's Tasty Jell-O Salad

1. Dissolve jello in boiling water
- 1 small package lime or lemon jello
- 2/3 cup boiling water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup whipped cream
Loaded Baked Potato Soup

1. In a large pot combine bacon, onion and butter
- 8 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- 6 or 7 potatoes; peeled, washed and cubed
- Enough water to cover potatoes in pan (about 4 cups)
- 3 chicken flavored bullion cubes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbs dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/8 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 10 oz Velveeta, cubed (I use Velveeta Light)
- 8 oz sour cream (I use the light version)
- 1/2 to 1 cup milk (I use 2% milk)
Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

1. In a slow cooker, combine the meat, soup, onion, Worcestershire sauce and water
- 1 lb cubed beef stew meat
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 oz cream cheese
Creamed Chicken with Gnocchi Dumplings

1. Cook the gnocchi according to package directions; drain
- 1 1 oz package potato gnocchi
- 4 Tbs butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 12 oz skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
- Salt and pepper
- 2 Tbs flour
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 scallions, chopped
Cool Whip Frosting

Beat well ~ fold in ` 8 oz
- 1 pkg. instant pudding
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup cold milk
Creamy Chicken Gnocchi Soup

1. Melt the butter into the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat
- 4 Tbs (1/2 stick) butter
- 1 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup finely diced onion
- 1/2 cup finely diced celery
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 quart half-and-half
- 2 (14-ounce) cans chicken broth (if you enjoy a thicker soup, use 1 can)
- Salt
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg (optional)
- 1 cup finely shredded carrots
- 1 cup coarsely chopped fresh spinach leaves
- 1 cup diced cooked chicken breast (you can use a rotisserie chicken)
- 1 (16-ounce/500g) package ready-to-use gnocchi
Sue's Brownies

1. Melt together the butter and unsweetened chocolate
- FROSTING:
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
