Homemade White Bread Recipe using a KitchenAid Mixer

In your mixing bowl, stir 3 1/2 cups of the flour, the sugar, salt, shortening and yeast until well mixed
- Gold Medal Classic White Bread (click the link for directions on how to make the bread without a mixer)
- 6 to 7 cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour*
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 2 packages regular or quick active dry yeast (4 1/2 teaspoons)
- 2 1/4 cups very warm water (120° to 130°F)
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted, if desired
Cranberry Spinach Salad

1. Wash and clean spinach
- Dressing:
- 16 ounces fresh spinach leaves, trimmed and torn
- 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
- red onion sliced
- 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 1/2 cup plain honey
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
Flatbrod (Flat Bread)

1. Combine dry ingredients; add wet ingredients
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 3 1/4 cup white flour
Becky's Blueberry French Toast

Cut bread into 1 inch cubes
- SAUCE:
- 12 slices day old white bread, crust removed
- 2 8 ounce packages cream cheese
- 1 cup blueberries
- 12 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup Maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1-2 cups blueberries
- 1 Tablespoon butter
JUDY NELSON'S BROWNIE RECIPE

Beat the sugar and butter then add the eggs,baking powder, salt, vanilla and flour
- Chocolate Brownies (very moist)
- 1 cup plus 3 tablespoons butter or margarine (if you use margarine, be sure to use the kind that says good for baking)
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Cream Cheese filling for bars or cake
- 1 8 oz cream chees
- 1/3 cup sugar
- vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- Whip up good and drop in dallops on bars or cake and then swirl in lightly.
Chocolate Caramel Squares

1. Heat caramels and water over low heat, stirring frequently, until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth
- 14 oz pkg caramels (about 48)
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups quick-cooking Oats
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 ounce package chocolate Chips
Salad with Grilled Chicken

1. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the first nine ingredients; shake well
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 4-1/2 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard
- 1 green onion chopped
- 1 Tablespoon minced fresh Tarragon or 1 tsp. dried tarragon
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 4 cups shredded romaine lettuce
- 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, toasted

- 1/2 cup butter, room temp
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla or almond flavoring
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 Tbs cream or canned milk
- 2 1/2 cups flour
Love That Bean Soup

1. Soak the beans overnight covering the beans with plenty of water

- 1 lb small dry navy beans
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 8 oz tomato sauce or V-8
- 2 slices bacon, cut into pieces
- dried red pepper flakes, to your liking
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Good size chunk of ham with bone in it
- Ham broth in the jar, optional
Judisch's All Purpose Rub

1. Mix the spices together in a bowl
- 3/4 cup paprika
- 1/4 cup black pepper
- 1/4 cup salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbs chili powder
- 2 tbs garlic powder
- 2 tbs onion powder
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper
