Dutch Baby Pancake Recipe

Preheat oven to 375º F. Place butter in a 10-inch cast iron skillet and place in the oven as it preheats
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk, heated in microwave for 20 seconds
- 2 large eggs, room temperature

French Onion Pot Roast (Slow Cooker)

- 3-4 pound boneless beef chuck roast (I prefer the California roast)
- 3 Tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1-2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 celery stalks, trimmed & cut into 3 inch pieces (I use Dandy Fresh)
- 4 carrots, washed & cut into thirds
- 10.5 oz can of french onion soup, condensed (I use Campbell's)

- 6 6 6 tbsp chocolate cake mix (I tested this with Pillsbury and Betty Crocker)

Breaded Fish

This particular recipe will make your fish fillets extremely crispy
- 2 cups dry potato flakes
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon seasoning salt
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 2 eggs
- 8 bluegill fillets (can also use bass, crappie, or tilapia)

KFC Mashed Potato Bowl

Step 1: In a shallow bowl beat together 1 egg and 1 cup of milk
- Mashed Potatoes:
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into 1” chunks)

Place all of the ingredients for the paste in the jar of a blender and blend until smooth
- For the paste:
- 1 habanero or Scotch bonnet chile, seeded
- 1 cup lightly packed fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 scallions, white and green parts, lightly chopped
- 6 medium cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon ground allspice
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3 pounds pork loin, cut into 1-inch cubes

- Brine:
- 2 quarts water
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed with the side of a large knife
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- 6 chicken legs and thighs, still connected, bone in, skin on, about 10 ounces each
- The Ultimate Barbecue Sauce:
- 1 slice bacon
- 1 bunch fresh thyme
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 cups ketchup
